Reach Bachelor of Science in Nursing according to European standard
This programme is developed to prepare nurses for working in a complex and dynamic health care sector, with increasing demands of providing best practice based on evidence.
Prospective candidates are registered nurses who want to achieve a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an acedemic qualification recognised in the Bologna declaration.
The Bachelor of Science programme
The programme consists of the following four modules:
- Philosophy of science and research designs, 10 ECTS-credits
- Health care improvement and patient safety, 10 ECTS credits
- Nursing theories / concepts and patient communication - an international perspective, 10 ECTS credits
- Thesis, 15 ECTS credits
Students will study on a part time basis. Each module in the programme can be taken as a separate module.
Web based education
The programme is offered as a web based education. To enable you to participate, Internet access with a bandwidth sufficient for watching streaming video is required (recommended minimum download speed 1 Mbps).
Teaching language: English
Entry requirements: All prospective candidates must be registered nurses. Proficiency in oral and written English is required. Applicants are requested to write a personal presentation. Principle of selection is time of professional practice.
